Team Head - Retail Branch Operations
About the job
Our Client is a Chinese bank in Hong Kong. It is now inviting high caliber professionals to join their Banking Group
Responsibilities
1. Responsible for branch operations management (including daily management of self-service equipment), including the formulation of branch operations-related business systems; Provide suggestions on the improvement of branch operations and process flow to ensure that branch operations comply with the bank's policies, procedures, guidelines and regulatory requirements
2. Supervise counter services of retail branches to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures
3. Provide guidance and training to branch employees on business operation, handling abnormal situations and making corresponding adjustments
4. Monitor branch related activities, including planning, guiding, coordinating and controlling the daily operations of the branch, ensuring that all transactions and related control procedures are executed in accordance with the bank's standard regulation and comply with the bank's compliance policies, KYC, CDD, FATCA and other requirements
5. Supervise daily branch operations services to customers, including record all relevant registers correctly and conducting customer risk assessments, reporting any violations to the bank's money laundering control officer, and ensure the branch operations comply with established rules and procedures, and providing high-quality customer service
6. Propose system requirements to the Ministry of Science and Technology to meet the branch's operational requirements and compliance
7. Co-ordinate system transformation and perform related testing work
Requirements
1. University Graduate, major in finance, economics, accounting is preferred.
2. Minimum 5 years experience in retail banking related operations, familiar with banking operating procedures, general banking products and regulatory requirements. Strong experience and knowledge of retail banking products & services and also in corporate banking will be preferred.
3. Solid knowledge on branch operations and security controls, able to secure the provision of high-quality retail banking services.
4. Familiar with Hong Kong regulatory policies and Hong Kong interbank market practices
5. Good in written and spoken both English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese).
6. Customer-centric, highly responsible, diligent work attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills, mature, independent, able to withstand pressure.
