Assist Manager / Manager - IT Development and Adminstration
About the job
Our Client is a Chinese bank in Hong Kong. It is now inviting high caliber professionals to join their Banking Group
Responsibilities
- Manage system storage and backup, and restore the operations
- Assist in planning and implementing systems and network integrations - Configure security settings or access permissions
- Liaise and co-ordinate with vendors, suppliers, distributors, contract consultants, etc.
- Evaluate new technologies and platforms to determine applicablitiy to resolve business challenges
- Timely respond and handle urgent business requests / system support during or after normal office hours
Requirements
- First degree or above in Information Technology, Information System, Computer Sciences or relevant disciplines
- At least 4-6 years' solid experience in bank IT
- Strong in handling system installation, upgrade, configuration, administration, troubleshooting, patching, monitoring of information systems, etc.
- Hands-on experience in system administration on Windows Server OS, DNS, AD, VMware, Linus, Oracle DB, etc.
- Detail-oriented, hard-working and be able to work independently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to work under high pressure with tight deadlines
- Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese, proficiency in Putonghua is required
